In June of 2001, Sussy DeLeon became the broker/owner of the RE/MAX New Horizons franchise. An immigrant from Guatemala, Sussy (pronounced Susie) built the business by taking a multicultural approach to real estate, working in communities across the state from the suburbs to the cities. Her approach is a result of her first-hand experience with the difficulties immigrants face with buying a home and since then, she has made it a priority to employ multilingual individuals in order to serve her clients well. By drawing on their knowledge and real life experiences, RE/MAX New Horizons continues to serve all communities across the state including the diverse neighborhoods of the Greater Providence area and has ranked in the state’s top ten percent in sales since Sussy gained ownership.
