RE/MAX IN RHODE ISLAND
DONATES 1250 POUNDS OF FOOD
TO THE RHODE ISLAND COMMUNITY FOOD BANK

PROVIDENCE, RI –December 29, 2011 – RE/MAX in Rhode Island recently donated 1250 pounds of non-perishable food items to the RI Community Food Bank, topping last year’s amount of 750 pounds.  Starting the week after Thanksgiving, 14 RE/MAX Offices throughout the state of Rhode Island were used as drop off locations for staff, agents and their clients to drop off non-perishable food items.

“Although many individual RE/MAX offices in RI participate in their own charity, RE/MAX does many things together, collectively, as the impact is much greater,” explains Karen H. Sechio, Director of Marketing for RE/MAX in Rhode Island. “This is the second year in a row that we have donated to The RI Community Food Bank. It is great to be affiliated with a company that is not only well- established in today’s real estate market, but also cares about their local community.”

All food was collected and donated on December 17th. Lite Rock 105 and Dave’s Marketplace also participated in this effort, as part of the “Season of Giving” campaign.
